Featured Van: Adam and Bree’s Mercedes 4x4 Sprinter Conversion

If there’s one thing we love, it’s helping our customers create the adventure vehicle of their dreams. Adam and Bree’s Mercedes Sprinter conversion is exactly that—a rugged, stylish, and functional campervan for a couple who wants to chase storms, hit the beach, and travel the country in comfort. They needed something tough enough to handle unpredictable weather conditions while blending into their surrounding beach landscape. The result? A versatile, go-anywhere van that’s as bold as it is practical.

A few of our favourite things about this Mercedes 4x4 sprinter Conversion:

A Bold Yet Thoughtful Aesthetic

First impressions matter, and this van is a head-turner. Adam and Bree were drawn to a retro mint green interior that complemented the mustard exterior nicely. It’s a striking colour choice that exudes personality while feeling fresh and adventurous.

Aesthetics go beyond paint, though. We added a rattan divider to bring in a boho feel, giving the space warmth and texture. Small details like these turn a van into a home, making it not just a vehicle, but a cosy escape from the elements—whether you’re hunkering down in a storm or waking up to a sunrise over the ocean.

Simple, Yet Ultra-Functional

In a van that needs to go anywhere, functionality is key. This Sprinter conversion is designed to make van life seamless, whether Adam and Bree are off-grid for the weekend or on an extended road trip.

Sleep is non-negotiable when you’re on the road, so we installed a custom Brownie’s pocket spring mattress to ensure every night feels like home. No stiff backs here—just deep, restful sleep before the next day’s adventures.

Storage is another major factor in a well-designed van. We built a pull-out garage tray with an easy-access hatch from inside the van. This feature extends everyday storage space and makes it effortless to grab what you need, whether it’s hiking gear, surfboards, or other bulky items,

To maximise the interior bed space, we added flares—custom extensions that widen the sleeping area. These were painted to match the van’s exterior, keeping the aesthetic clean and cohesive while adding valuable space to the sleeping setup.

Built for the Road (and Off It)

While the inside is all about comfort—it’s the exterior features that make this Mercedes Sprinter capable of tackling any terrain. One of the standout elements of this campervan conversion is our custom M+D roof rack, designed specifically for the Sprinter but adaptable for Crafters and Transits. It’s a game-changer for carrying extra gear, mounting solar panels, or just kicking back on the roof to watch the stars. Paired with a sturdy ladder, accessing your gear is effortless.

To give the van a rugged edge (and improved performance), we upgraded to Black Rhino wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolander AT tyres. These aren’t just for looks—though they definitely add to the van’s vibe. They provide extra grip and durability for everything from sandy beaches to rough backroads, ensuring our clients can take their adventures anywhere with confidence.

Adam and Bree’s Mercedes Sprinter conversion didn’t have to settle on style or function to get the ultimate adventure van. Whether you’re storm chasing, beach hopping, or road-tripping across the country, a well-designed build can make all the difference.
